Filming Issues: Location

Location options: Car park
                           Forest/woods
                           Arboretum
                           Mental Asylum
                            Prison
                           Graveyard
                         
Among those location, we had chosen the Victoria Center Car Park. This is because it goes well with the story and most of the murder takes place in the car park (SLASHER movies). However while we were filming, half way towards the end some security guards came and forced us to leave. Which left our filming incomplete. According to the security guards it is necessary to get informed consent, and as its a public placing, filming kind of work need permission form from the school and the head of Victoria center. We had tried to get permission from both school and Victoria center, however it need to go through a long process and letter personally or phone call was not acceptable. So for the project we had to stop our shoot and choose another location.

Our second choice was then the Arboretum, however even for this location some problems raised. We had shot the whole things, everything seemed fine and complete but when it came to editing we could identify it was not right. It was not the way we wanted. The dialogues were unclear, some of the scenes were missing, background noise, continuity and strange people were shown in the clip. Because they were so many problem raised, we had decided to re-shot the whole sequence. But when it came to re-shot, we were facing problems again with the location and actors. So consequently we have to re-do the whole thing with new actors and location.
