Friday The 13TH
The inspiration for our filming is Friday the 13TH, therefore ideas which used, similarities and differences.
The similaties between Friday the 13Th and The Woods is that are both located in or near the woods. Therefore we have taken the idea to shot our film in the woods because its grabs attention and keeps the audience interest. They both have one killer and more then one victim and similar shots used with the film, which make the film look really good.
However the difference is that it has different openings, Friday the 13Th opens with friend going on a camp and getting killed, whereas ours is two friends being stalked and getting killer when one dares another to enter the woods. Also the props and types of characters, Friday the 13Th uses mask and lather cloths, whereas we use a black hoddie and no mask. Friday the 13Th uses more then two victims for the beginning and all getting killed, but we use two victims, one getting killed and one escaping.
This film has been a great inspiration for our film as it gave us understanding of what ideas to use and develop.
