First Post

The skills that we will be learning over the next couple of weeks in Media Studies will involve camera framing and shot types, editing continuity, storyboarding, genre conventions.

Continuity editing is all about coherence and orientation. If a film maker randomly stuck together a series of shots the spectator will soon become disoriented. Different shot types include, mise-en-shot, the long take, and deep focus photography.
